Who We Are
Deco Construction is a full-service general contractor serving the South Bay and surrounding areas. We handle architectural planning, city permits, custom design, and construction under one roof, so homeowners work with one team from the first sketch to the final walk-through.
The company traces its roots to 1988, when the founders began building homes in the South Bay under an earlier name. As the business grew, it was reorganized and incorporated as Deco Construction in 2010. Our design center opened on Mariposa Avenue in Torrance two years later. Between the founders, our team brings more than 25 years of combined construction experience to the work.
What we build has stayed consistent through every version of the company. Custom kitchens and bathrooms. Additions and ADUs. Whole-home remodels. Ground-up new construction across the South Bay, from the Palos Verdes Peninsula to Torrance, Lomita, San Pedro, and the surrounding communities.

How a Deco Project Runs
Every project follows the same clear sequence, whether it is a kitchen remodel in Torrance or a full renovation in Palos Verdes. One team, one schedule, one point of contact from the first meeting to the final walk-through.

Free In-Home Consultation
We meet at the property, walk the space, and take the time to understand what you want to build. We ask the questions that matter for scope, timeline, and budget, and follow up with a free written estimate.

Design & Selections
Plans and finishes come together at our Torrance design center. Cabinetry, stone, tile, flooring, and fixtures are selected in one place, with the team that will install them.

Permits & Construction
We handle every city permit and HOA submission, then move into construction with hands-on project management and weekly progress check-ins from start to finish.

Through & Handover
Before final payment, we walk the finished project with you and work through the punch list together. You move back in knowing every detail was handled by the same company that started the job.
